OUR LEGACY BEGINS

In the heart of Silverdale, BC, the foundation and inspiration for Vasa Group was laid by a visionary: Hardavinder Gill, Father to Raj Gill and Grandfather to Amit Gill who operate Vasa Group's projects across Western Canada. Our story is not just about construction; it's a tale of legacy, family, and the pioneering spirit that fuels our passion for building communities.

A FAMILYS HERITAGE

Operated by Hardavinder Gill, the Silverdale Store was more than a gas station; it was a legacy in the making. As the first gas station in Silverdale, it stood on what is now the site of the present-day Silverdale Canco, marking the beginning of a tradition that would extend across generations. Captured in a photograph by Robert T. Nelson and preserved by the Mission District Historical Society, the image from October 1980 offers a glimpse into a bygone era. It showcases the quaint architecture of the original C-Store built in 1892 and, notably, the gas prices of the “good old days,” serving as a testament to our roots.
